Derval Ingleton

Derval Ingleton is a Clinical Reflexologist who works at our practice on Wednesday afternoons.

After working for a number of years in a stressful job in finance, which did nothing for my health I decided to take my life in a different direction and trained as a reflexologist.  I I originally studied with the International Institute of Reflexologists (IIR)in London then completed further studies with Tony Porter in Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART) and more recently with Sally Kay's Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD).

I offer 30 minute treatments for GBP25 or 1 hour treatments for GBP40.  

I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and I am trained to work with people of all ages and at all stages in their lives, from preconception, IVF and pregnancy to menopause, burnout and during chemotherapy (with permission of their oncology team). 

My clients find reflexology particularly helpful for stress, hormonal imbalances, period pains, digestive issues, insomnia and restless leg syndrome.   I volunteered as a reflexologist for a number of years at the Hospice in the Weald where my clients found reflexology to be beneficial in living well with their chronic conditions and the anxiety that often accompanies it.

Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology was developed to help those living with lymphoedema after breast cancer but it is very effective for all forms of lymphoedema as well as autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.
